  1. I love your website because of the research you do that results in the wealth and breadth of information, descriptive details and colorful anecdotes you pack into each entry. Because of this, I’m confident that you’ll give just due to Jennings and Mills, two major manufacturers of slot machines and other coin-operated items, who preceded Bally here in Chicago. I’m not going to say anything about Bally pinball machines because that would lead to a mention of Williams and other Chicago-based pinball manufacturers! I feel like there’s enough there for a book and I’ll bet it’s probably been written. Again, kudos to you for your website. As a collector of Chicago postcards, including advertising, I’m enjoying making connections with some of your entries. I wish I had the ability to do with my camera collection (some made in Chicago) and my mining collection what you have done with your Made in Chicago collection!
