“I bought the Magic Sam “West Side Soul” album used at the Delmark affiliated Jazz Record Mart (which was located at 7 W. Grand Avenue from ’70-’73). Jazz Record Mart would have an after-Christmas sale and then another sale in the summer. When Delmark owner Bob Koester died recently, it reminded me of watching free movies with friends on a Friday night at Bob’s Northside home. This was in the early ’70s.” –W. R. Turck
